I have requested the case to be placed on hold

We do have requests from time to time asking us to hold the application or pause the application, we do take this very seriously and we are always diligent in our approach, we ask each applicant to carefully examine all the circumstances, perform itikhara and take as much time as they need before applying for khula, faskh or even talaq.

These are not taken lightly in Islam and can have huge lasting ramifications if not done correctly or because of an erratic or emotional decision.

While we have sisters who need the closure quickly and then others who wish just to have us issue a few notices to threaten the spouse into committing to them after an argument, we have to be completely true to our creator and in the decisions we make on behalf of the people that approach us.

For these reasons the maximum time we can hold an application for us 4 weeks, this makes sure that that decision was not erratic or driven by emotions and also gives the applicant a deadline to work on, we can help you navigate you through this journey and work with you insh Allah to assist in the best possible way, but if we believe that we have been abused t bully the spouse on your behalf or the process has been used to try and control the respondents then we will simply cancel the case immediately and possibly even press legal charges against you.

If the application is placed on hold for 4 weeks and we do not hear from you then we will cancel the application and our standard cancellation policy applies which is linked below.

If you require any further clarifications then please do let us know
