I spoke to the Sharia Council in detail and they made me understand the process from start to finish, even if the husband keeps claiming he never received the notices the faskh will still go through, when i told my husband that I am receiving them and you are copied into the same email, how is that you can claim you never received them, I then sent them to him but he then wanted the Sharia Council to send it to him by whats app followed by a phone call. We worked out that he was just playing games and was constantly lying to us, the faskh was issued after 3 months and I blocked all communication with the respondent.

I gave Talaq to my wife but the Sharia Council state that its not the correct procedure, I have read through the detailed article on talaq and i was stunned to find that their process of talaq is brilliantly explained, a massive learning curve for me and my whole family

Jazakh Allah Khairun for leaving us a negative review while we feel that people should leave their honest review after they have experienced the service with us, we do however feel had you asked us the questions before leaving such a review we could have explained to you, that we are registered as a not for Profit organisation not as a charity becuase our services do not fall under charitable requirements, secondly our esteemed scholars requested their details to be removed from the website in 2019 after being assaulted physically by one of the respondents, therefore we will not be sharing the details of scholars against their wishes. We clearly disclose this information on our website and this does give people the opportunity to either use the service or not.

We request that you kindly remove the review as its misleading and has information in it which is false.

Especially since you didn’t even use the services so would you leave a negative review ?

He accused them of being FAKE and said he does not recognise they have any authority to dissolve the nikah, this is quite concerning that some people have these views, they can keep the wives in nikah against their wishes and torture them in the relationship, nit give them their rights but still maintain they have the overall authority, This is NOT Islam and these draconian people belong in the caves and not claim they are upstanding Muslims, when clearly their actions state otherwise. During the most stressful period of my life The sharia council support and guidance was above and beyond. Very efficient, always got back to me within afew hours. Very grateful. If you are unfortunate and need this service I highly recommend you use this council.

My family called other scholars and the scholars said there is NO such thing as a khula for the wife in Islam, so I need to work harder to keep my husband, i found this unrealistic and un-Islamic, the more I studied Islam the more I realised that majority of todays “Scholars” are NOT actually Scholars at all. This Sharia Council helped me understand that I can exit the Nikah should I wish to do so as no one can force me to stay in the marriage without my consent

The stress this man gave me, he constantly abused me and emailed the Sharia Council with threats and demands, they remained very calm and dissolved my nikah using the faskh method, the husband didn’t agree and still doesn’t accept it, he just wanted to keep me in his nikah as a prisoner even though we had been separated for over 2 years, Using Talaq as a weapon is NOT permissible is what I have learnt through this process, and if the men gave the Talaq when they agree that the marriage has become irreconcilable and amicably in the kindest manner as soon as possible, but as u can imagine that is NOT what happens in todays society

The process was simple and completed without any unnecessary delays.Whenever i had any questions or needed to provide additional information they replied quickly and kept me updated.The support and good communication made a very stressful situation easier to deal with.

Today I seen this and though Allah Hu Akbar thank Allah SWT for allowing me to be released from my marraige, he went to so many Sharia Councils and they all didnt listen to me and he had me held almost as a prisner for many years now finally even big Muftis have started to accept that a woman has the right to walk away even if the husband does not agree to it. The Sharia Council was very convenient for me as all matters were handled online, which meant the divorce could be handled without having to physically attend anywhere. They dealt with my case even though my ex partner lived abroad, by emailing the notices. Also the team were quite efficient with their email responses and also helpful in answering questions.
