My husband claims he has not received the notices

Assalaamu Alaikum Dear Brothers & Sisters, we welcome that you have contacted us to either cancel your khula or faskh application and we encourage couples to try and make every effort to reconcile, indeed this is the way Allah SWT demands us to carry out our lives.

However we often find that people today act in a very erratic manner both when applying and when cancelling and hence we have to notify them that in the event of any application being cancelled we simply cannot un-cancel the application or resume it without a brand new application being submitted, this means that new fees will apply.

Therefore we ask people to carefully consider this and take into account before emailing us to cancel an application.

We also understand that often sisters are put under extreme duress by either their spouses or family members to cancel the application, we can protect sisters if they put a password on the account and contact us after the fear has passed to let us know if this has happened.

It is a very strange world we live in today where we make very erratic decisions driven by emotions and encourage everyone reading this to make sure they have properly thought it through before making any decisions on applying or cancelling

Allah SWT asks to think, rethink and think again, perform istikhara several times if you need to before making such decisions

May Allah SWT bless you all with ease & tranquillity Ameen Ya Rabb
